Down, Not Out is a High-Energy Acoustic Americana band based in San Francisco. Founded by Andrew Freeman and Eric Kurtzrock, DNO features some of the bay area's best talent on record and on stage. Their debut CD features Brad Russell (Rick Derringer, Pat Travers, Kevin Russell) on bass, Chojo Jacques (founding member of the Waybacks, Slaid Cleeves) on mandolin and violin, Tim Hunt (Yankee Grey) on harmonies, as well as a host of San Francisco's finest musicians.
